Robyn and Sasha met in 2019, when Robyn was working at a remote recruitment company and sent Sasha an email to see if Mino Games was hiring (they were). They met at the office, which quickly turned into drinks after work, which quickly turned into a secret getaway to a music festival in the Quebec countryside.

The two instantly became inseparable, and began to share every part of their life in Montreal together, seeing each other almost daily.

When the pandemic hit in 2021 and Sasha went through an extremely stressful period at work, Robyn booked a trip to Costa Rica when the airports first opened back up. What was supposed to be two weeks turned into 9 months of living in Santa Teresa, where the couple made some of their best friends and built a second home to which they often return.

In 2021, they returned to Montreal and began living together in Sasha's studio apartment. Sasha had started his second business, and was fundraising for both companies while Robyn had started and begun quickly scaling her own sales agency. Robyn and Sasha had front loaded all of the difficult relationship tests – travelling together, living together in a 600 square foot apartment, running startups, a global pandemic... and passed each one with flying colours. Every day was filled with more love, support and laughter despite how challenging the situations were around them.

In December 2021, Robyn and Sasha moved into their new Montreal apartment (more than 600 sq ft!), and began three years of hard work surrounded by their best friends and family. Their business adventures took them traveling across the world and their love grew until Sasha (finally) proposed in November 2023 by which time the two knew that there was no world in which they wouldn't spend the rest of their lives together.
